WANT TO EARN AN ACC CREDENTIAL WITH THE ICF?


ICF requires that coaches who are wishing to work towards an ICF credential complete 10 hours of Mentor Coaching over the course of 14-15 weeks. Well now CLCI is now offering group-mentor coaching that meet ICF's Level 1 accreditation standards!


Collaborate with CLCI-sponsored mentors who exemplify top-notch knowledge, experience, and ethical conduct. Together, we'll help you refine your coaching skills and elevate your sessions to an ACC level of proficiency. Our dedicated mentors are here to support your growth and success every step of the way!

 
Step 5, performance evaluation

Your final step before you apply for the ICF ACC!

​

ICF requires that coaches who are working towards an ICF credential pass a performance evaluation of their coaching skills. This evaluation consists of an Assessor’s review of a recorded coaching session with a transcript submitted by the applicant. Candidates on the Level 1 path will need to pass a performance evaluation as part of their completion of their coaching education program. 

​

The coaching session must be with a regular client who has hired you as a coach and not in any other capacity, and must last between 25-35 minutes.

PREREQUISITES

  • Completion of at least 60 Hours of ICF approved education (excluding CCEs).

​

  • Clients that you can record & submit session calls with.

​

  • Recommended 30 logged coaching hours with clients. (Download a blank log below).

​

PERFORMANCE EVALUATION

Upon completion of Mentor Coaching Hours, you may apply for your Performance Evaluation and Complete Level 1! You will need:

​

  • 100 logged coaching hours (at least 75 paid) with coaching clients.

​

  • One client that you can record & submit session calls with.

​

  • An audio recording of the coaching session

​

  • A transcript of the coaching session
